Security Risk Solutions Inc., a SeaPort-e prime, is a small, woman-owned business that specializes in Healthcare Information Security and Privacy Risk Management Services.  SRS recognizes the delicate balance and difficult challenges faced by organizations in trying to fulfill the business mission, yet still maintain regulatory requirements for security and privacy and implement best practices in a cost effective manner. Consulting services focus not only on the technical infrastructure, but also on the business processes and staff practices which play a crucial part in the effective implementation of any security, compliance or IT governance program. SRS is currently supporting ONC as the incumbent Initiative Coordinator for the Data Segmentation for Privacy initiative, and is supporting other Federal Agencies (DoD, VA, NIH, FDA) in the development and implementation of Security Certification and Accreditation artifacts for inter-agency and consumer facing healthcare information systems.

AVOW Consulting Partners is a small, woman-owned, disabled veteran-owned business specializing in healthcare IT management consulting and bringing proven best practices to their clients.The Partners are Department of Defense veterans each with greater than 20 years of complex IT acquisition experience. They collectively hold graduate degrees in healthcare, information technology, and education. Additionally, the Partners have earned nationally recognized certifications such as the HIMSS Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems and the Project Management Institute’s Project Management Professional (PMP).

 

AVOW provides expert strategic consultation and management services to the Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Information and Technology, Virtual Lifetime Electronic Record (VLER) Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO).  AVOW established the EMPO and developed a comprehensive strategic plan and baseline tactical plans for resources, including financial, space, and manpower.  AVOW ensures the smooth conduct of the EPMO day-to-day operations.  AVOW performs all aspects of program planning, management, and execution, to include finance, acquisition, personnel, schedule, requirements, integration, configuration management and control, and risk management.  AVOW conducts studies and analyses.  AVOW assists with the integration of information technology plans.  AVOW performs frequent interactions with executive leaders and technical, architectural, and functional professionals.  AVOW promotes and educates on the mission, vision, and accomplishments of the EPMO and benefits of VLER.
